A Little Bit About Me
I was born in the United Kingdom and moved to this part of Spain in 1991 at the age of 6. After finishing school, I ended up in the real estate world and haven't looked back since. Having worked for almost ten years for a local estate agent in Alhaurin El Grande, I finally decided to spread my wings and started up my own business - this would be called Mediterranean Homes.
Since opening Mediterranean Homes in January 2019 with my brother Tyler, I have been very busy setting the business up and building the relationships needed to do the job well and serve clients as well as is possible. At times, the workload is very demanding, and the hours are long but that is to be expected and I really enjoy it.
I love to travel but running a new business has meant that I have not been able to travel as much as I like. Despite that, every day I meet people from different parts of the world in my job and I learn so much from them. In 2019 I met David Burgess and in 2020 he became part of the team and is now the Sales Manager, in 2020 our photographer Mario also joined the team followed by Eva, our Office
Manager in 2022 and Sylvia that is our newest addition to the Mediterranean Homes Family joined in April 2023, she is a huge asset to us as she only speaks 5 languages!
It's been wonderful being part of an expanding team. I became a mother in 2022 so having a team I trust has made everything so much easier for me and I truly appreciate all their hard work.
I now mainly do all the property valuations for Mediterranean Homes and I supervise all our sales to make sure they all move forward smoothly and with as little hassle involved as possible for our buyers and sellers.

Seven Questions For Kelly
Business has been fantastic since we started in 2019, I think it is gradually getting more and more busy. Honestly, COVID complicated things a bit for our clients during 2020 and 2021 but we were still busy selling properties remotely! I think what has made it better for our business is the fact that unlike other agents, we specialize in selling country properties within the Alhaurin el Grande/Coín region. It is a highly demanded area for various reasons; location, climate, lifestyle etc. It's honestly is a great place to live - what can I say? It’s been my home for more than 30 years!
I honestly believe country properties will become more in demand in the future as more and more people choose country living over the hustle and the bustle of the coast.
There are many good things about living in this part of Spain. Obviously, the weather is one, the friendly people, the gastronomy, the spectacular scenery and the overall lifestyle is wonderful, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
We try to spend as much of our free time with our son, Leo. We also bought our first family home in January 2022 and have been doing quite a lot of work on our house, but we try to balance that and spend as much time together as a family.
If I am completely honest, I cannot see myself doing anything else, I really like what I do. It is not an easy job at times, but I love meeting new people and the challenges involved in real estate. In a nutshell “I love matching people with properties”
Difficult question. I have many favorites. Overall, I love Spanish food, Indian, Sushi, seafood and recently I have really taken to spicy foods, as you can probably tell I am not fussy! My husband is a great cook too, lucky me!
We pretty much found everything in the house we recently bought! We own a finca in the countryside in Coín. We also have our office at home too. My parents also live with us in an independent studio, and we have 24.000m2 of land a nice views!
