New Coworking Office Opens in Coín

Recently at our Costa del Sol Networking Event, we met with the owner/operator of the new Coworking Office in Coín called "Oben".

Andrew Watson and his wife have opened a 140m² office space in the 'Centro de Negocios’ building, not too far from La Trocha (it is above Coín Windows if you are familiar with them).

What are coworking office spaces?

Coworking office spaces are a shared workspace where individuals from different companies or industries work together in a common space. It is a flexible and cost-effective alternative to traditional office space, as businesses can rent out only the space they need and can add or reduce space as their business demands change.

Coworking spaces typically provide amenities such as high-speed internet, conference rooms, printing facilities, and even kitchen and lounge areas. They also foster a sense of community by providing networking opportunities, events, and social activities to encourage collaboration and interaction among individual workers.

Andrew describes it as an office you simply rent access to and use as though it were your own.

This makes it great for freelancers, startups, and people who are always on the go but who might need a central location to save them from constantly going ‘back to base’ between tasks. It is also a good place where one can meet a client rather than a local cafe.

Monthly access starts at just €32+IVA which seems a small price to pay for access to a serviced office with high-speed internet.
