1. How long have you lived on the Costa del Sol for?

I moved to Spain in November 2020 during COVID, and just before the implementation of Brexit.

2. What made you want to open a business on the Costa del Sol?

I have worked in Estate Agency, property and land management for 20 years. I wanted to apply my trade on the Costa del Sol simply because I fancied a new challenge in life. I was in the process of purchasing my own Estate Agency to sell properties in Marbella when I met Kelly… We hit it off and I ended up pulling out of the sale and going to work for her, instead. It turned out to be a very good decision!

3. What’s the best thing about the Costa del Sol as a place to live in your opinion?

The people. My friends, colleagues and clients are from all walks of life… it makes for interesting conversation.

4. Give us a brief description of what you get up to on your usual working day.

I work full time for Mediterranean Homes as the Sales Manager. My days are spent matching clients to their dream properties and conducting viewings of properties for sale in Málaga.

5. How has business been for you in the past two years?

Business has exceeded expectations and continues to do so.

6. How do you enjoy spending your weekends and free time?

Always with my beautiful wife Ellen, and our two wonderful daughters Ziva and Aya, exploring the sites, enjoying long walks, rock climbing, going to the beach, eating out with friends and chilling around our pool.

7. If you could be in charge of any other business here on the Costa del Sol for a day, which would it be and why?

I´m really happy with what I do. I´ve been doing this for a long time. Nothing else really appeals to me.

8. What’s your favourite food?

Impossible to answer…. I have so many favourites from Sushi to Paella, Burgers to Pizza, and even a good old simple sandwich.

9. Describe what your perfect home on the Costa del Sol would be like and where it would be.

Exactly where I am. My neighbours have become really close friends. This is more important than the style of house in my opinion.

10. What Tip would you like to share with others contemplating coming to live in Spain?

Do your research. It is so important. This will make you better prepared for integrating into the community here. Don't be afraid to ask any of us here at Mediterranean Homes for recommendations and advice. We meet people looking to move to the Costa del Sol every singel day and we know just about everything there is to know about the area and the process of buying a house and moving here.

11. Who would be your perfect dinner guest?

My friends and family. Making memories. Always a good laugh.
