1. How long have you lived on the Costa del Sol?

I moved to Spain with my family in June 2006. I am from Germany, and I lived in a cold area, where we had 9 months of winter, now I have 9 months of summer.

2. What made you want to open a business on the Costa del Sol?

My plan was not to open a business in Spain in the beginning as I had already home-based a business, where I could work from wherever I wanted to. I started this business in Germany in 2003 and it gave me the chance to fulfil my dream, of living in this lovely, warm country.   A year later the company I was collaborating with was not able to keep up with the technological advances and it came to an end. Also, I found that my internet in the house where I was living was not very good …to make a long story short, I created, together with some business partners, our own internet company which is inland from the Costa del Sol. We provide people with internet, via a Wi-Fi system, in houses where they can´t get a landline.

3. What’s the best thing about the Costa del Sol as a place to live in your opinion?

My daughter always said: Mum it’s like we are on holiday…. and this is so true, yes, we work hard, and we have our challenges but in the end what counts is …the lifestyle we have here.  Great food, great wine, sunshine, and happy people.

4. Give us a brief description of what you get up to on your usual working day.

I am still running the internet business but a few years ago I decided to follow my passion! I love to motivate and inspire people to live the life they really want to and to give them the tools they need to make their dreams come true.  So, I created a concept, and I started another company, Claudia Roediger.com

As you can imagine, with running 2 companies, I am very busy but honestly, if you love what you do…it never feels like work, I have already been able to help so many people build up their own businesses which means that every second of my working day is worth it.

My slogan is:

Of course, you can create a Life and business you Love!

5. How has business been for you in the past two years?

I was and I am very busy as when I do something, I want to do it right, with a lot of discipline. My Business is growing...

6. How do you enjoy spending your weekends and free time?

I like to enjoy my pool area, read a book, meet friends on the coast for lunch or dinner, sit in a nice restaurant on the beach, and enjoy a glass of wine.

7. If you could oversee any other business here on the Costa del Sol for a day, which would it be and why?

This is a very difficult question as I love so much of what I do so I cannot imagine doing anything else.

8. What’s your favourite food?

I love Italian food… pasta y basta!

9. Describe what your perfect home on the Costa del Sol would be like and where it would be.

My perfect home would be inland, I love Coin, I grew up in a very small village, so for me Coin is big … AND the coast is too busy for me sometimes. I do have a very clear picture of the house, but too difficult to describe so I will send you pictures when I find it.

10. If you were to appear on “Come Dine with Me”, what theme would you choose?

An Italian evening with the music of Luciano Pavarotti.

11. Who would be your perfect dinner guest?

I would love to have dinner with Anthony Robbins, Eric Worre, and Robert Kiyosaki.
