Whether you're considering your move to Spain or already live here, it's always refreshing to hear about others' stories and find out about some of the people who live here. That's why we are conducting quick 10-minute interviews with colleagues, clients, friends and acquaintances so you get an insight into the type of people living here and day-to-day life here in Spain!

Anders Rosell recently bought a property on the Costa del Sol with Mediterranean Homes and is the editor and graphic designer at "HEJ! Spanien", a Swedish magazine/online news outlet based in Monda, Spain.

1. How long have you lived on the Costa del Sol for?
I have lived in Alhaurin El Grande for 10 years.

2. What made you want to open a business on the Costa del Sol?
I quit working for a media company I had been with for almost 10 years here on the Costa del Sol and decided to start up my own together with 3 other colleagues.

3. What’s the best thing about the Costa del Sol as a place to live in your opinion?
Needless to say, the climate but also its beauty. The scenery here is breathtaking.

4. Give us a brief description of what you get up to on your usual working day.
Since I am the editor and graphic designer of a monthly publication I either produce articles or design the actual magazine.

5. How has business been for you in the past two years?
This is a new business and we have only been in operation for 3 months but we are doing really well so far. We love working on this project.

6. How do you enjoy spending your weekends and free time?
I don’t have much spare time, my hobby is dog breeding and dogs so I have always things to do. I do enjoy going out for dinner with friends, watching a good movie and just relaxing when I have the time.

7. If you could be in charge of any other business here on the Costa del Sol for a day, which would it be and why?
I am a commercial communicator by profession and would be interested in doing something similar if I was to run any other business.

8. What’s your favourite food?
Japanese, Indian, Asian food.

9. Describe what your perfect home on the Costa del Sol would be like and where it would be.
A country house somewhere on the Costa del Sol, not too big and with a spacious covered veranda where I could create an outdoor lounge room, a pool is a must and low maintenance garden that still looks beautiful. A nice view would be ideal too. I would be happy not to have neighbours too close as barking dogs is a pain to live with.

10. Who would be your perfect dinner guest?
Hopefully a future partner :-)

Thank you, Anders Rosell, for taking the time to answer our questions!
